Reading time: 1 minute
It’s been about six months since I last sat down to write a post here.
In the world of business, six months can feel like a lifetime. But while the blog has been quiet, the work behind the scenes definitely hasn’t stopped.
The silence here wasn’t exactly planned, but it turned out to be really useful. It gave me the space to look at where I’m adding the most value and see what I am actually good at.
A Focus on the “Brain-First” Approach
If you’ve followed Hive VA for a while, you’ll know I’ve always worked with ADHD business owners. Moving forward, I’m leaning into that a bit more and bringing that focus to the forefront of this blog.
I want this to be a place where we get real about what it takes to run a business when your brain works a bit differently. We’ll be talking about:
- Navigating Access to Work: Taking the mystery out of the grants that actually pay for your support.
- The VA-Client Partnership: How to build a long-term rhythm that survives those “low-dopamine” days.
- Neuro-Inclusive Systems: Building a business that works with your brain, rather than fighting against it every day.
Am I only working with ADHD clients?
The short answer is NO. While I’m passionate about neuro-inclusion, the truth is that the systems that help an ADHD brain – things like total clarity, proactive communication, and zero-fuss admin – actually help everyone.
Whether you’re neurodivergent or just a business owner who is completely at capacity and needs a reliable partner to keep things steady, my door (and my inbox) is always open.
What’s Next?
I’ll be back here every two weeks. No fluff, just helpful insights and a bit of a deep dive into the intersection of ADHD and business.
If there’s something specific, you’re struggling with or a topic you want me to tackle, let me know.
It’s good to be back.
